A packer prepares and packs fasteners for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Responsible for accurately fulfilling orders, performing quality control checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

• Set up robot and palletizer equipment.
• Set up equipment to specific job requirements.
• Safely operate mobile equipment in the facility.
• Perform quality checks before packing product.
• Read bin cards to correctly process products.
• Set up scales for accurate counting of product.
• Scan bin cards to transfer information in the computer system.
• Ensure labels are correctly printed and placed on cartons.
• Follow instructions and processes according to specific requirements.
• Place correct pallets at the end of the pack lines ensuring both domestic and export requirements are met.
• Check first and last box of each job to ensure correct parts are packed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Ability to use proper tools.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment.

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Packaging in a distribution center environment is a plus.

• Work is performed in a distribution center environment.
• Standing for long periods of time is required.
• Lift up to 50+ pounds on occasion.
• Must be willing and available to work overtime, as needed.
