Warehouse Forklift Operator

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana. The role provides weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

• Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Friday & Saturday 5:30 am–4:00 pm and Monday & Tuesday 4:30 pm–3:00 am

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products and load/unload trucks.
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
• High degree of initiative, accuracy under pressure, and ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Can stand for long periods and work using health and safety methods.
• Available for flexible scheduling across various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
