The Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the financial operations of Community Action Kentucky. This position assists with accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, budgeting, grant and contract tracking, payroll coordination, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Finance Coordinator works closely with CAK staff, contractors, funding agencies, auditors, and member agencies to ensure financial activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations, grant requirements, and organizational policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or nonprofit financial management experience preferred. Experience with grant-funded
- programs and nonprofit accounting is strongly preferred. Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and financial software systems.
- Ability to prepare reports, analyze financial information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation, valid Kentucky driver's license, and proof of insurance.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
