By joining the Division of Driver's Licensing as an Administrative Specialist in Franklin County, you will provide high-level professional administrative support to internal staff and leadership related to the agency’s business operations.
Summary of Responsibilities- Review and analyze complex applications by screening original legal documents presented for vetting identity to determine eligibility to obtain identification by , Permit or Driver’s license.
- Assist customers in reviewing and processing any documents acceptable to provide a service in the KY driver’s license information system in determining a driver’s status for issuance.
- Provide professional customer service by phone, email, and face-to-face services.
- Process fees and complete daily reconciliation reports.
- Experience with phone and face-to-face customer service.
- Experience with collecting money and providing a service.
- Experience with data management in processing systems.
- Experience providing training to subordinates.

The position is sitting at a desk and could have minimal lifting and travel with overnight stays.
Minimum RequirementsEDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR
SKILLS:
One year of professional, administrative, or business experience.

Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
