DescriptionThe Department for Aging and Independent Living provides services for aged and physically disabled individuals across the state. The department assists individuals in obtaining needed home and community-based care and services to prevent premature admission into long‑term care facilities, aiming to help them remain in their own homes. We are seeking a high‑energy, self‑motivated individual to support the division in achieving the department’s goals.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Perform advanced analysis of records to identify provider deficiencies.
- Evaluate regulations and policies, providing expert recommendations for improvement.
- Develop, interpret and maintain comprehensive statistical reports and tracking spreadsheets.
- Address complex inquiries and prepare detailed oral or written responses.
- Analyze and report impact of policy changes, providing expert insight to inform decision making and strategic planning.
- Conduct monitoring and technical reviews of agencies providing waiver services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to plan and establish priorities, differentiating between urgent, important, and unimportant tasks.
- Excellent organization skills, including time management, scheduling, coordinating resources, and meeting deadlines.

- Education: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience, training, or skills: Three years of professional experience in public or business administration, political science, statistics, policy analysis, economics, or a related field.
