By joining the Division of Waste Management, Program Planning and Administration Branch, Project Administration Section as an Administrative Supervisor in Franklin County, you will supervise employees, coordinate agency procurement, manage grants, and be accountable for major fee‑supported program payments for the Division.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, supervise, train, and oversee the activities and employees of the Project Administration Section.
- Oversee procurement for the Division and administer Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), personal service contracts, and program payments.
- Serve as budgetary and audit point of contact for the Division.
Education: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
Experience, Training, or
Skills:
Four years of professional administrative experience.
Substitute Education for
Experience:
A master’s degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience.
Substitute Experience for
Education:
Additional administrative, business or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis.

Location300 Sower Blvd, Frankfort, KY 40601 USA. The agency may authorize the selected applicant to telecommute on a hybrid schedule. The agency may terminate or modify the telecommuting arrangement at any time.
Employment ConditionsThis position is full time, 18A, 37.5 hours per week, and ineligible for overtime pay. The role is a probationary position for six months.
