The Kentucky Court of Appeals office has an immediate opening for a COA Deputy Clerk. The Deputy Clerk is responsible For Assisting Court of Appeals Court Clerk in Performance of Constitutional Duties.
Due to the nature of job duties and responsibilities, this position is not authorized for virtual work.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Entry of accurate data into court of justice case management system.
- File and retrieve legal documents and court records.
- Notifu counsel of record and parties as necessary.
- Assist public concerning the status of court cases.
- Collect fees as necessary.
- Assist in other administrative and clerical duties for court of appeals central office.
- Cross-training as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR
SKILLS:
1 year of job related experience
Substitute EDUCATION for
EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree and Related Job-Related Job Experience Will Substitute for Bachelor’s Degree
Substitute EXPERIENCE for
EDUCATION:
High School Degree with 4 years of job-related experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must Be Able to Kneel, Crouch or Climb.
