The Executive Protection & Travel Safety Manager serves as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and Chair of one of the world’s most recognizable brands, delivering seamless protection, travel support, and executive readiness across a dynamic schedule. This role blends executive support, protection, and travel coordination, ensuring the principal is safe, prepared, and able to move confidently through daily activities, business travel, and key engagements.
Equally important, this individual is a collaborator and connector who works across executive administration, corporate security, travel, and intelligence functions to anticipate needs and create smooth, low-friction experiences. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, emotional intelligence, polished communication, and a warm, service-oriented presence. Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible to work in the United States, and able to maintain a valid U.S. passport for frequent domestic and some international travel.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-touch executive support, protection, and travel coordination with a strong service mindset, ensuring the principal is prepared, informed, and confidently supported throughout meetings, events, and travel.
- Manage end-to-end movement and travel logistics, primarily domestic with occasional international responsibilities, including advances, routing, transportation coordination, timing, and real-time adjustments.
- Develop a strong understanding of the principal’s preferences, routines, communication style, and working rhythms, then translate that knowledge into consistent, detail-focused execution.
- Partner across divisions to align planning, protective intelligence, travel coordination, and executive support around business activities and special engagements.
- Represent the function with discretion, executive presence, and sound judgment, balancing professionalism, warmth, and appropriate visibility in high-touch environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in security, criminal justice, or a related discipline is desired.
- Executive protection, defensive driving, first aid/CPR/AED, EMT, or similar protective and response training is strongly preferred.
- Progressive experience in executive protection, protective security, law enforcement, military, or a closely related field supporting senior leaders or high-profile principals.
- Demonstrated success managing travel, logistics, and protective planning and operational support in dynamic environments, ideally including both domestic and international travel.
- Knowledge of travel risk intelligence services and situational awareness systems.
- High emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build confidence and rapport through a calm, polished, service-oriented approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail, discretion, communication, and follow-through, with the ability to collaborate effectively while operating with significant independence.
