AVP- Medicaid (People Leader

Our client is a leading national Medicaid health plan seeking an experienced actuarial leader to help shape the strategic direction of its growing Medicaid business.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity, joining a senior actuarial team with responsibility for driving Medicaid strategy, financial performance and people leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in influencing executive decision-making while leading a team of credentialled actuaries across a broad portfolio of Medicaid initiatives.

You’ll lead Medicaid rate advocacy, forecasting, reserving, financial stewardship and strategic planning, partnering closely with Finance, Product and Market leadership to support business decisions, influence state rate discussions, and drive continuous improvement across the actuarial function.

• ASA or FSA designation.
• Significant Medicaid actuarial experience within a health plan or consulting environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Medicaid rate advocacy and working with state Medicaid agencies.
• Strong background in forecasting, reserving and financial stewardship.
• Proven people leadership experience managing actuarial teams.
