Adjunct History
Adjunct Instructor or Adjunct Professor (non-tenure track) in History, with a minimum qualification of a Master's Degree (18 credit hours in a History content area) in the field from an accredited institution, and commitment to teaching in a Historical Black College and University (HBCU) undergraduate liberal arts college with specialization in African American History preferred.
Teaching History Program courses as defined by the Faculty Handbook.
Duties include but not limited to: teach 1-2 introductory general education course in African American History, plus upper level courses in History, in various formats including face to face, hybrid and online modes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants must submit a letter of application including graduate transcript(s), curriculum vitae, and three current letters of recommendation indicating teaching philosophy and adaptability to course modalities. Applicants will be accepted immediately until the position is filled.
Master Degree in History
This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
This position requires working in an office and/or classroom setting.
