Hours per Week (Max 20):20 hours a week
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Submitting their work schedule for the semester prior to the beginning of the semester.
- Assisting the Office of the President & Office of the Provost, when necessary, with answering the door to allow guests to Hume Hall as well as ensuring when guests (faculty, staff, students, campus guests) exit the building, the building is secure.
- Acknowledging respective guests in a professional and kind manner; while inquiring the nature of their visit and then walking them to the coordinating office.
- Arrive to work by their assigned time. If the student will be arriving late or will not be able to work their schedule as assigned, they are asked to contact their supervisor via supervisor’s KYSU email or text via supervisor’s cell phone as soon as possible. Student worker are to inform their supervisor if they will make up any time within the given time period.
Student worker are responsible to enter their time on the day they work. - Come dressed in black bottoms (black dress slacks, skirt [knee length or, if shorter, black leggings or opaque tights must be worn under the skirt], black blouse/sweater with short/long sleeves, or KSU T-shirt or collared polo in school colors (Gold, Green, White)
- Assist supervisor with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Be proactive & productive
- Maintain university mandated GPA requirement of 2.5 or higher
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior scholar
- Be professional and courteous while working and representing the Office of Academic Affairs
