The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Office of Career and Technical Education, Division of Technical Schools and Continuous Improvement, Kentucky Technical Schools Branch has an opening for an Adult/Technical Admin Consultant I. This role represents a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, challenging and professional environment.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
  • Provides consultative services and technical assistance in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs including but not limited to work-based learning, career, and technical student organizations and CTE accountability. Assists with the development and implementation of operational procedures for school, regional, or program administration. Performs other duties as required.
  • Provides technical assistance to school and district personnel regarding Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs including but not limited to work-based learning, career, and technical student organizations and CTE accountability.
  • Provides support to the Division Director through consultative services and technical assistance in the development and implementation of career and technical education operational procedures for schools, regions, or program administration and New Teacher Institute.
  • Provides technical assistance to school and district personnel regarding professional learning activities and continuous improvement plans for CTE staff and programs.
  • Provides assistance to program, school and district staff on attainment and appropriate use of CTE funding.
  • Provides guidance and professional assistance to program, school, and district staff on best operational practices of CTE including alignment to community workforce.
  • Serves as a liaison between local districts and Office of Career and Technical Education along with serving on various committees and task force cross agency teams. Provides support to the Division Director as needed.
