Job Summary
- The Institutional Data Coordinator provides critical administrative and data management support to the Director of Financial Aid & Institutional Research. This position is responsible for the compilation of data necessary for university external and internal reporting, including but not limited to, IPEDS cohorts, Peterson's, NC-SARA, NCAA, and HLC. Collects, collates, and generates program review metrics and other requested data reports. Assists in updating and maintaining the University Academic Catalog and the institutional profile hosted by Credential Engine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Data Reporting
- Coordinate data collection required for institutional and external reports, including, but not limited to:
- IPEDS Cohorts
- Peterson's
- HLC Annual
- NCAA
- Service Learning
- Ohio Department of Higher Education reporting
- Respond to internal requests for institutional data
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of institutional data
- Compile data needed for university assessment and outcomes webpages
- Content manager of the print and online undergraduate and graduate catalogs using Modern Campus Catalog TM
- Annually update the inventory of available Malone programs displayed through Credential Engine
Fulfill other tasks as assigned to support institutional research activities and university goals.
V. Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (including sorting, data validation, formatting, and basic formulas like VLOOKUP)
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Comfort learning specialized software
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Excellent organizational management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professionalism
Education and Experience
- Associate degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in higher education or administrative support experience
- Work generally conducted in an office environment
