This is a full-time, on-site role based in American, OH, combining Maternity cover class teaching with Mathematics teaching responsibilities.

The educator will plan and deliver daily lessons, manage classroom activities, and ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities include teaching mathematics according to grade-level standards, differentiating instruction for diverse learners, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback.

The teacher will prepare lesson plans, maintain accurate records, communicate regularly with families and colleagues, and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

The maternity cover component involves assuming full teaching responsibilities for a designated class during the leave period, ensuring continuity of instruction and curriculum implementation.

• Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach concepts clearly and adapt instruction to various learning levels.
• Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including aligning lessons with standards and designing assessments to measure learning outcomes.
• Qualified Teacher status or equivalent recognized teaching certification, with demonstrated classroom management and instructional skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities, with a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees or additional subject endorsements are an advantage.
• Experience in international or American curriculum schools is beneficial, along with familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
