In this full-time contract role, you'll work Monday through Friday, supporting exceptional learners across grades K-8 at a single school site. You'll enjoy the continuity of working with a manageable caseload of 16 students and will collaborate with dedicated education professionals as you nurture growth and success.

Key

Qualifications:

• Current Intervention Specialist license (or eligibility strongly preferred)
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including writing and implementation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Effective data-collection, progress monitoring, and report-writing abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide specially designed instruction (SDI) to boost student achievement and personal growth
• Monitor student progress toward goals, collect relevant data, and provide regular updates through progress reports
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment in alignment with best practices for K-8 special education
• Adapt and modify curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning profiles
