Description
We're looking for a Surveyor (PLS) to join the HMB team in Frankfort or Lexington, KY!

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage surveying projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure.
* Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
* Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
* Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
* Manage project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and permits.
* Conduct fieldwork when necessary, providing technical oversight and guidance.
* Ensure the safety of all team members and compliance with safety regulations in the field.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 8+ years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on transportation projects.
* Indiana Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
* Proficiency with surveying equipment and software, including Micro Station, ORD, and Civil 3D.
* Strong understanding of transportation design and survey requirements.
* Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
