Customer Quality Manager

The Customer Quality Manager, CQM (referred to as RTC at the Group Level) will be responsible for the Customer Technical Support of the company’s North American customers (US + Canada, territory defined). They will assist the customers and sales team in any technical requests/questions and work jointly with the development and production teams either in France, UAE, or Mexico. They will be in charge of claim resolution (glass, decoration, shippers, and logistics) and support to warehouses with their quality/technical subjects.

In order to ensure and develop customer satisfaction they will work on continuous improvement projects including products and services.

Major responsibilities of the job, tasks, performance expectations:

  • Root cause analysis, management, and implementation of preventive/corrective action following product claim (internal or external).
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through frequent customer visits/production line audits of processes.
  • Ensure products quality conformance through Third-Party Logistic partners, suppliers, product audits, customer visits.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing plants and the customers in new product development phases when requested.
  • Provide technical operational assistance for customers.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects (logistics, quality, packaging,...).
  • Work closely with our Third-Party Logistic partners on their quality and technical subjects.
  • Become an expert in glass fracture analysis and other types of glass imperfections. Same for decoration and cardboard packaging.
  • Assist logistics team in claim resolution if needed.
  • Manage reselect/audit projects product qualifications at our Third-Party warehouses.
  • Palletization specification development, validation and/or optimization (reduce packaging = reduce waste = reduce cost).
  • Travel to the company’s production plants for training and production follow-up.
  • Customer visits with sales team for new projects (when requested)
  • Participate in physical inventory at Third-Party Logistic warehouses.
Qualifications:

• Engineering degree required

• Business development is a plus.

• No minimum experience required
