The Office of the Prosecutors Advisory Council (PAC) in association with the Office of the Attorney General presides over the financial administration of the Unified Prosecutorial System, consisting of 177 Commonwealth's and County Attorneys and their employees. PAC has a vacant Budget Specialist II position and is looking for a new member of their team to provide administrative and fiscal support to the Unified Prosecutorial System.
Responsibilities- Administers all facets of the travel program for the Unified Prosecutorial System.
- Reconciles Asset Forfeiture accounts and processes cash receipts in eMARS.
- Administers federal grants, reconciles and compiles reports.
- Reviews and monitors grant expenditures to ensure compliance.
- Completes annual SEFA.
- Processes payments and JV’s in eMARS.
- Provides information to assist in the preparation of Capital Plans and Biennial Budget.
- Monitors accounts in eMars and reconciles to internal accounting system.
- Assist with preparation of materials for PAC meetings and other special projects.
- eMars cost accounting management.
- Accounts payable and receivables.
- Strong spreadsheet and database query skills.
- Records maintenance and management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt.
- Able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently.
- Strong Excel and Office Suite skills.
- Managing phone and email communications with the public and staff.
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR
SKILLS:
Three years of professional experience in budget administration, financial analysis and/or forecasting, statistical analysis, accounting, financial auditing, or a related field.
