The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Office of State Budget Director is seeking a Policy and Budget Analyst I. This position will work along side staff with responsibilities including the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Executive Branch budget.
Responsibilities Of The Policy And Budget Analyst I Include- Review and analysis of agency biennial budget request.
- Preparation of biennial budget request for assigned agencies within the Executive Branch
- Monitor legislative action during General Assembly Sessions including tracking of proposed changes to
- Executive Branch budget request.
- Process requests from assigned agencies including budget modification documents, documents for capital projects.
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

Professional experience in budget preparation, budget administration, accounting, and/or financial analysis will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Probationary PeriodThis job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
