Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent is the face of The Ashbrook Hotel, responsible for creating a warm, seamless, and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure. This role blends hospitality, organization, and attention to detail to ensure every guest interaction reflects the hotel’s boutique standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
- Greet guests with a welcoming and professional demeanor
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Provide personalized recommendations for local dining, attractions, and services
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Front Desk Operations
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a timely manner
- Process payments, verify billing, and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
Administrative Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area
- Assist with daily reports, logs, and shift handoffs
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards
- Previous hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using hotel systems (PMS), POS systems, and basic office software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
