Job SummaryThe Enterprise System Developer is responsible for the automation of business processes, creation of APIs, and development of custom reports for the University. This position maintains and supports the Ellucian Banner ERP System and its integrations, as well as develops new integrations and processes that automate business functions and help end users leverage technology. A strong understanding of SDLC, business intelligence, and project management is required.
EssentialJob Functions
- Develop ERP process automation and API solutions using various programming languages.
- Create reporting solutions with multiple reporting tools.
- Use knowledge of application tables and file structures to diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Produce end‑user and technical documentation on development and functional knowledge.
- Develop project plans with detailed steps and estimates within project planning software.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Participate in continuous performance improvement meetings to enhance processes and standards.
- Assist in maintaining and supporting Banner ERP System and its associated integrations.
- Work with application vendors.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
- Experience with relevant development tools, applications, and system architecture.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Quick learner capable of applying new languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- Experience using common development practices.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of IT and computer science, with experience across various programming languages.
- Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a customer‑service attitude and teamwork orientation.
- This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
- Ability to continuously stand or walk.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
- Tasks performed as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
