Position Overview
IT Routing & Scheduling Technician is needed to support a busy field services team by coordinating equipment installations and break/fix appointments. This role involves working extensively within an IT service management system, creating and updating tickets, and communicating with end users to schedule and confirm service appointments. Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate installation and repair appointments for field service technicians.
- Create, update, and manage tickets within an IT service management platform.
- Communicate with customers via email, messaging tools, and phone to schedule and confirm service needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Work closely with field technicians to ensure accurate routing and scheduling.
- Maintain detailed documentation and follow established processes.
- Support general help desk and service desk functions as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience with help desk or service desk environments.
- Basic troubleshooting or technical support familiarity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Comfort working with Windows based systems and common office applications.
- Experience with ticketing systems or IT service management tools.
- Familiarity with desktop support or hardware deployment environments.
- Excellent documentation habits.
- Team-oriented with a positive, outgoing personality.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
Entry Level
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
