Job Title: SharePoint Web Accessibility & Content Compliance Specialist
Location: Frankfort, KY
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Description:The SharePoint Web Accessibility & Content Compliance Specialist ensures the organization’s SharePoint based websites and uploaded documents meet ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA standards. This role provides hands on SharePoint support, remediates accessibility issues across multiple document formats, and partners with departmental web authors to maintain consistent, compliant, and user-friendly content.
Key Responsibilities SharePoint Content Management & Site Consistency- Update, configure, and maintain SharePoint pages, web parts, navigation, and document libraries to ensure consistent layout, branding, and usability.
- Review existing SharePoint sites for formatting inconsistencies, broken links, outdated content, and structural issues.
- Assist departments in creating or updating pages using approved templates, metadata, and content organization standards.
- Support content lifecycle management, including archiving, versioning, and cleanup.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2016/2019, including page editing, site structure, and content management.
- Strong understanding of ADA requirements and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Demonstrated ability to remediate accessibility issues in web pages and documents
, including PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva exports. - Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (WAVE, Axe, Siteimprove, Lighthouse).
- Experience training or supporting non-technical content authors.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail oriented with a focus on consistency, usability, and compliance
