Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a knowledgeable Desktop Support Technician with a strong customer service focus to support users in the Frankfort area and surrounding counties. This role involves both remote and on-site support, requiring excellent communication skills alongside solid technical expertise.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid driver's license and be comfortable traveling locally, lifting and carrying equipment, and working in physically demanding environments when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users in both remote and in-person settings
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop hardware and software in a Windows-based environment
• Support system imaging, deployment, and migration activities
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Assist with basic network connectivity troubleshooting
• Manage and track support requests through a ticketing system
• Maintain accurate inventory records of equipment and assets
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with users

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience troubleshooting operating systems and productivity applications
• Familiarity with user account management and directory services
• Knowledge of hardware diagnostics and repair
• Experience supporting email, collaboration tools, and mobile devices
• Understanding of network fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting
• Ability to document work and manage tasks through a service management system

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
