Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to support users in the  Frankfort, KY  area and surrounding regions. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise and exceptional customer service, as technicians provide both remote and onsite support to end users. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, professional growth, and the chance to build advanced technical skills in a dynamic support environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide desktop support for end users both remotely and in person
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software in Windows-based environments
Support Microsoft technologies including Windows 11, Office 365, Outlook, and Active Directory
Perform imaging, deployment, and system setup for end-user devices
Troubleshoot hardware issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Handle software installations, updates, and general application support
Provide basic network troubleshooting and connectivity support
Manage and track incidents using a ticketing system
Support device inventory, migrations, and equipment lifecycle processes
Deliver excellent customer service while building strong relationships with end users

Required Qualifications

Strong experience in desktop / technical support or help desk environments
Proficiency with:  Windows 11
Microsoft Office 365 (O365) and Outlook
Active Directory

Experience with hardware troubleshooting, imaging, and deployments
Familiarity with ticketing systems (such as Service Now or similar)
Basic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in various physical environments as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting enterprise-level environments
Exposure to Exchange, mobile device support, and printer troubleshooting
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
