Desktop Engineer​/Support Technician

Our client is seeking a Desktop Engineer/Support Technician to work onsite in Frankfort, KY (8:00am - 5:00pm). This position requires physical work on equipment in Frankfort, KY and travel outside of Frankfort will be necessary. Company vehicle will be provided.

Candidates must be able to pass a client background check, drug test, and fingerprinting.

• Main responsibility is to administer client Desktops, Notebooks, and Mobile Data Terminals (and accompanying equipment).
• Hardware and software support, including specialized law enforcement software and devices.
• Assist with IT equipment in client cruisers.
• Work with vendors for support on workstation issues.
• Coordinate with Tier 1 and 3 personnel on support issues.
• Work with the IT Ticket System.
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned or needed by the agency.

• Windows desktop operating systems support client hardware and software, including Office 365 applications.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to create technical documentation.
• Provide Tier 2 support to other personnel in the IT Branch.
• Ability to receive training and retain new knowledge.
• Ability to be professional and courteous.
