You need to work with a team of skilled professionals to address complex problems, when needed. The role assumes standby monitoring and investigation duties.
Main Responsibilities- Real timemonitoringfor possible security.
- Detects and analyzesnetwork anomalies considered to be Events of Interest (EOI)
- Ensures compliance with organizationalsecurity rules and standards
- Delivers appropriatereportsby collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Coordinates with L2/L3and/or Duty Manager for high priority incidents
- Conducts research to keep abreast of latest security issues
- Monitor system health and data feeds
- Primary contact pointof SOC for opened cases support
- Threat intelligenceplatform monitoring
- Incident responsefor specific range of customers
- Abuse e-mailanalysis
- Prior experience as a security analyst is preferred but not mandatory
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Security, ICT, Networkingor any other relevant field
- Fluency both in Greek and English languages, oral and written
Skills:
- Knowledge of Linux / Unix / Windows systems
- Solid background in the following:
1) Networking and associated protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, OSI model etc.)
2) Information Security (Security standards and practices, Security technologies, Security Monitoring, Penetration Testing, Incident Response, Threat landscape e etc.) - Hands-on experience withSIEM - IBM QRadaris highly desirable
- Relevantcertificationsconsist a strong asset (e.g. Security+, Netowrk+, CySA+)
- Understanding or knowledge of software programming with scripting language sis beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- The role mandates to work ethically, with high degree of integrity, confidentiality and appropriate use of information
- Very good organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Ability to work efficiently both within a team and independently
