Shipping Clerk

Randstad is currently sourcing motivated professional for a second shift temporary Shipping Clerk opening at a high-volume manufacturing site. We are looking for a sharp, organized individual who can manage the "final mile" of our production process. In this role, you aren’t just filling out forms; you are the final checkpoint for quality and accuracy before products reach the world. Your primary goal is to ensure that every outgoing pallet is documented, labeled, and tracked with 100% precision.

  1–3 years in a warehouse, shipping office, or manufacturing environment.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Familiarity with JDE or similar ERP systems is a major plus. You should be comfortable navigating Microsoft Office 365.
• Adaptability:
  With multiple roles open, we need team players who can jump in, communicate clearly with warehouse supervisors, and handle a fast-paced workflow.
• Reliability:
  Aconsistent track record of punctuality.

salary: $21 - $22 per hour

• Orchestrate the departure of goods by preparing complex shipping dossiers, including Bill of Ladings, packing lists, and specialized international labels.
• Use digital portals to transmit Advanced Shipping Data (ASNs) and confirm that orders have successfully left the dock.
• Bridge the gap between the physical warehouse and the office by logging received goods and processing "Ship Confirmations" in real-time.
• Keep the floor moving by generating and distributing Kanban signals to the moving crews, ensuring they have the instructions needed to pull the right stock.
• Audit customer orders for errors, handle high-volume document scanning for the accounting team, and manage the administrative flow of mail and production paperwork.
• Take an active role in maintaining stock health by participating in regular floor counts and verifying inventory levels against the database.
• Help schedule standard shipments and high-priority "expedites" to meet tight delivery windows.
