Systems Engineer
What You Will Do
- Shipping and receiving government owned equipment.
- Making entries into US Army/US Government databases and tracking applications.
- Managing government equipment software/hardware configurations.
- Failure trend analysis and obsolescence reviews.
- System and sub-system debug through serial command line interfaces and remote protocols.
- Development of Acceptance Test Procedures for both Collins and non-Collins equipment.
- Analysis of hardware interfaces and wiring schematics to identify and address interoperability/compatibility defects.
- Handling/Operating cryptographic keying devices.
- Conducts scheduled, and impromptu, training sessions for software loading and systems troubleshooting.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience with Microsoft products to include Excel, Visio, and Access Database.
- Experience with US Army/US Government forms and databases.
- Experience with US Government property book handling and tracking systems.
- Experience with government program operations.
- Experience operating/troubleshooting integrated digital avionics management systems on Special Operations rotary wing aircraft which include MH-6M, MH-6R, MH-47G, and MH-60M platforms.
- Experience with GPS receivers and Inertial Navigation Units.
- Experience with operating, loading, troubleshooting software defined radio sets.
- Experience with wire harness fabrication and military installation/repair practices.
Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Candidates will learn more about role type during the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. Position may require approximately 25% travel.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. This range represents all experience levels and is based on role, function, responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance and have an active, transferable security clearance prior to start date.
This role is a U.S.
-based position. Candidates who reside in a U.S. territory shall be eligible for the appropriate pay structure and benefits.
