Staffmark is hiring subject matter expert consultants for a 3–6-month engagement in Frankfort, KY. This engagement spans production planning, production control, and warehouse/RFID operations — if you thrive on fixing broken processes and building up teams, this is your chance to make a direct, visible impact.
Schedule:Monday - Friday. Shift depends on contract. Options: 8 AM-5 PM, or 4 PM-12:30 AM
Pay:DOE
What You'll Do- Evaluate current production planning, scheduling, and receiving processes.
- Train and mentor employees on work order management, production execution, capacity planning, demand forecasting, and RFID tag and inventory accuracy.
- Build and support daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor performance against plan, resolve scheduling and execution issues across production, materials, and logistics, and recommend process improvements to strengthen schedule attainment and on-time delivery.
- Help establish standardized procedures and sustainable best practices across production and warehouse functions.
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, production control, or warehouse/inventory operations. Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP or WMS systems, scheduling, capacity planning, and RFID or inventory management.
- Excel proficiency and a track record of training or mentoring teams.
APICS/CPIM a plus or Automotive manufacturing experience. Bilingual Japanese/English is a plus for planning-focused work.
