SUMMARY:
An individual in this role uses solid experience to develop the production master schedule used for executing the manufacturing build plan within a 3-month scheduling horizon. An individual in this role will provide the plant with a production schedule consistent with plant capacity, and material availability, and to satisfy product demand based on sales forecast and engineering builds, and targeted inventories.
- Prepare, issue, and control 3-months rolling production schedules based on the agreed upon sales and operations plan. Analyse and identify risks associated including manufacturing lead times, material availability, subcontractor performance, etc.
- Coordinate necessary interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, transportation/logistics to align resources and meet schedule.
- Serve as point of contact for sales operations to prioritize finished goods releases and expedites.
- Identify material requirements for a controlled flow of raw material, WIP inventory and finished goods. Time materials to meet production requirements as per the schedule, monitoring material usage and variances, creating real-time MRP signals to ensure component availability.
- Monitor production schedule attainment daily and highlight deviations (under/over- production). Monitor status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and elevate potential production, capacity, equipment or material disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost to achieve schedule attainment.
- Monitor service-related key performance indicators (KPI) like on time delivery, backorder, product availability, schedule adherence, net requirement attainment, safety stock targets, support production and supply chain reporting.
- Collaborate with production control to execute daily production schedule and create work orders and closures as needed.
- Participate in S&OP process meetings to share service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications. Update production master schedule based on approved meeting conversations when necessary.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling, material planning, forecasting or related role; or equivalent combination of education/training and work experience.
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes.
- Proven ability to listen and influence others at all levels, regardless of reporting structure.
- Ability to identify complex situations and resolve conflicts arising from balancing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and use sound judgment during impact evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills for a variety of audiences.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office products (advanced in Excel).
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems a plus (SAP, QAD, Net Suite, Oracle).

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 annually
