Mancan Staffing is assisting a company in North Lawrence in hiring an experienced CNC Machinist.
Shift: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: BOE
Job Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code or CAM-generated)
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
- Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
- Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed
- Maintain machines and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience (lathe, mill, or both)
- Proven ability to write and modify CNC programs
- Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis or 5-axis) required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Drivers License is REQUIRED with strong work ethic
