Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides critical nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring patient safety and quality care. Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to manage patients experiencing urgent medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions to support accurate and timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing appropriate clinical skills and equipment.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records using Meditech Expanse EMR system.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to promote a secure environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with at least 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and blood warmer.
• exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
