Quality Technician
The Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring products meet established quality standards by performing continuous testing, measurement, and documentation along the assembly line. This position reviews each process at multiple stages of production to verify compliance with specifications and supports the organization's commitment to consistent, high-quality output across all shifts.
Responsibilities- Perform constant testing and inspection of products at multiple points along the assembly line to ensure they meet defined quality standards.
- Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
- Review each process on the production line regularly to identify any deviations from quality requirements.
- Document inspection results accurately and completely, maintaining clear and organized records.
- Enter and update quality data in Microsoft Excel and other systems as required.
- Interpret and work from blueprints to understand product specifications and inspection criteria.
- Follow established quality procedures and standards to maintain consistency across all shifts.
- Communicate quality issues and nonconformances to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on recurring issues observed during inspections.
- Adhere to all safety and quality policies while working on or around the assembly line.
- Hands-on experience performing product inspection and quality checks in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Proficiency using micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
- Ability to accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records.
- Working knowledge of quality standards and inspection practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to determine product specifications.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry and documentation.
- Experience with inspection, measurements, and documentation processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using PLEX or similar manufacturing/quality software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Solid organizational skills for managing multiple inspections and documentation tasks.
- Ability to work effectively on any assigned shift within a production environment.
- Comfort working in a structured, process-driven quality system.

WorkEnvironment
This position is based in a climate-controlled production facility that maintains a comfortable temperature year-round. Work takes place along an assembly line, with a focus on inspection and quality verification. The role is available on three shifts: 1st shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 2nd shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 3rd shift from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.
You will regularly use precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers, as well as Microsoft Excel and PLEX or similar systems for documentation and data entry. The environment supports direct placement with structured, regular pay increases, and includes shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shift work. The facility is organized, process-driven, and designed to support focus on quality and accuracy.
