As a Field Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

• Starting hourly pay range $14.50 - $16.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

• Part‑time position with a variable schedule.
• Average weekly hours: 6–14 hours per week.
• Availability required two weeks before and after major holidays, including weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

• Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology to communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
• Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Usually notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments; may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration: Support other merchandiser team members as needed across territories.

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. Work will be performed on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. Must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
