Senior Synthesis Chemist
Our client, a global giant in chemical manufacturing, has an operation in Louisville Kentucky, an area famed for its high quality of life and low cost of living.
Due to the growth of the business, they need to attract a Senior Synthesis Chemist who will:
- manage new resin development projects for coatings applications
- scale-up products
- provide technical support.
It would be a big plus if you have expertise in acrylic solvent borne resin synthesis.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or similar (MS or PhD)
- 10+ years of polymer synthesis and coatings formulations.
- 5+ years designing and developing solvent borne acrylic resins.
- Ability to travel occasionally (domestically and internationally) perhaps 10 days per year.
- Analytical, problem solving and collaborative skills.
- Interpersonal, written, oral and presentation skills.
