Job Title: Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver

Location: Frankfort, KY

Pay Rate: $17.51 per hour

Schedule: Day Time Sat  08:00 AM - 04:00 PM (requires six‑month commitment)

How This Role Works: Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”) plus Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program to pick up additional shifts and increase earnings.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Support a welcoming healthcare environment by interacting respectfully with the public, observing for potential risks, and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Ability to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Comfortable working in a hospital setting that may include exposure to the morgue.
• Proof of high‑school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age (unarmed roles 18+, armed roles 21+).
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and licensing checks in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
