THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SECURITY SPECIALIST (PROTECTION)-TITLE 32, Position Description Number D2617000 and is part of the KY DCSOPS, National Guard.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTMust have experience in a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems. Ability to develop guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods. Experience in information, personnel, and physical security to effectively implement, integrate and administer applicable security programs and/or coordinate with other specialized security programs. Knowledge of security classification methods, concepts, and eligibility for access to classified or sensitive information.
SPECIALIZEDEXPERIENCE
Must have least 36 months experience and knowledge of a wide range of security specialties to include physical, personnel, and operational security. Experience in protection functional areas including anti-terrorism, emergency management, law enforcement, and physical and operations security. Experience interpreting and implementing Executive Orders, legislation, and DoD, NGB, United States Army (USA), and/or MACOM policy requirements to provide overall enhanced security of installation resources and personnel.
Experience briefing and advising supervisors and other security groups at higher and lower echelons. Experience assessing data, writing reports, researching current world events, and maintaining official database information. Experience that has provided a comprehensive knowledge of anti-terrorism procedures.
