This is a full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician role based in Frankfort, KY. The Journeyman Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential and commercial projects, including wiring, panels, lighting, and outlets. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, planning layouts, and ensuring all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing troubleshooting and repairs, and completing routine preventive maintenance.

The Journeyman Electrician will collaborate with team members, coordinate with project leads, document work performed, and communicate clearly with clients regarding project status and recommendations.

• Strong foundation in electricity and practical electrical work, with proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Skills in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions in residential and commercial settings.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts as they relate to field installations, load calculations, and system performance.
• Current Journeyman Electrician license (Kentucky or ability to obtain), with thorough knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and job site hazard awareness.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams, use electrical testing equipment, and complete accurate job documentation.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Frankfort, KY, and ability to work overtime or on-call shifts as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized apprenticeship program preferred.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and dedication to high-quality workmanship and customer service.
