Aircraft Mechanic - Title 32
As an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC - TITLE 32, WG-8852-10, you will perform inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on assigned aircraft to include pre-inspection, daily inspection, pre- and post-flight inspections and special inspections as required. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform unscheduled maintenance on aircraft. Perform the full range of repair and testing of aircraft system, assemblies, and surfaces. Diagnose and identify problem areas and determine the extent of repairs required.
Remove components and assemblies, repairs or replaces defective parts and components and reassembles repaired items into the aircraft. Install, align, and make needed adjustments to major components and assemblies such as engines, propeller/rotors, transmissions, hydraulic systems, etc. Accomplish adjustments to related systems which may be affected by repairs. Conduct ground functional tests of all aircraft systems. Perform other duties as assigned.
