Job Description /ResponsibilitiesService Operator - Buffalo Trace Distillery
Buffalo Trace Distillery is currently seeking applicants for a Service Operator position, multiple shift employment, with a starting salary of $28.03 per hour.
We are looking fora dependable and motivated person to join the outstanding team that produces some of the highest quality products in the world. Responsibilities include assisting the Firemen in maintaining and operating the boiler in the distillery.
Ensure that proper oil and grease is used for each application and properly maintain specifications/schedule throughout the plant. Maintain a clean and safe working environment inside the boiler room.
Physical requirements include frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.,as well as frequent bending, kneeling and squatting. Climbing is required frequently throughout the day on stairs and ladders.
Working outside during inclement weather conditions is required in addition toworking inareas that are not temperature-controlled.
Candidates must have:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- A stable work history with a demonstrated record of working safely and excellent attendance
- Applicants will be required to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
- Must have aptitude to learn chemical treatment processes and testing methods
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience in the Alcoholic Beverage industry
- Previous boiler experience
Candidates must be able to work 8 hour shifts/Monday-Friday on 2nd and 3rd shift.
