Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

North Lima company is looking for an experienced Mechanic to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable individual with strong mechanical skills who enjoys diagnosing and repairing drivetrain components.

Location:

North Lima, OH

Shift: Dayshift

Pay: $18.00 and up based off experience

Background check, drug screen, and resume required

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild transmissions
• Repair and replace axles and drivetrain components
• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Maintain accurate repair records and keep a clean, safe work area
• Work efficiently while following all company safety procedures

• Previous experience as a mechanic required
• Experience with transmission and axle repair strongly preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical information
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
