Position: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Crooksville, Ohio

Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students across two campuses within a welcoming academic community. Utilize your expertise in speech-language pathology, including hands‑on and teletherapy skills, to make a lasting impact during a pivotal portion of the school year. The position offers a structured yet dynamic setting, allowing you to engage with approximately 50-60 students and collaborate with a team that values dedication and innovation.

In this role, you’ll dedicate Mondays and Wednesdays to one elementary building and Tuesdays and Thursdays to the other, following a consistent schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM each day. This assignment runs from early October through January, providing the chance to make a focused and meaningful contribution to students’ speech and language development.

Qualifications &

Preferred Experience:

  • Valid SLP licensure and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in school-based and/or teletherapy environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and students
  • Confidence in managing caseloads of 50-60 elementary students
  • Ability to provide assessments, therapy, and consultative support to meet students’ IEP goals
  • Tech‑savvy with comfort using teletherapy platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech‑language interventions in‑person and virtually
  • Develop and execute lesson plans targeting speech, language, and communication needs
  • Administer evaluations and document progress toward IEP objectives
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school staff and parents
  • Adapt and modify therapy approaches to best suit diverse learning styles
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
