Job Title
The focus of this position is to support the implementation of new digitized driver license issuance requirements, including REAL , Commercial Driver License (CDL), and National Driver Register (NDR) compliance. The successful candidate will review and analyze secure driver license documents and applicant information while maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism.
Requirement/Must Have- Must have and maintain a valid driver license and a clean driving record (subject to periodic screening).
- Must be able to pass federal fingerprint background checks.
- Should be a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree or an associate's degree.
- Administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Must have very good communication skills, both in-person and via phone.
- Must be task-oriented, self-motivated, and possess good organizational skills.
- Must be professional, supportive, diplomatic, flexible, and responsible.
- Must possess interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of clients.
- Must have a high level of personal accountability and integrity.
- Must be able to learn and utilize the KY Driver's License Information System (KDLIS)/IDEMIA issuance program.
- Must be able to read and interpret a driver's history record and enter data accurately.
- Must become highly knowledgeable in Driver Licensing laws and policies.
- Must be able to learn Commercial Driver Licensing laws and licensing processes.
- Must be able to work professionally with both employees and citizens.
- Customer service experience serving internal and external clients.
- Experience working in a team environment and assisting others as needed.
- Experience processing non-US citizen applications by screening original documents.
- Review and analyze secure documents and applicant data related to driver licensing.
- Advise applicants on driver licensing-related questions and concerns.
- Inspire and lead others through professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Work overtime (up to 5 hours per week) and Saturday hours as needed.
- Conduct duties in alignment with federal and state driver license regulations.
- Ability to lead and inspire team members.
- Ability to remain professional and composed in all communications and situations.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
- Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred.
- Equivalent experience in administrative, clerical, or business settings may substitute for education.
- Warnings will be issued once; repeat incidents may result in termination.
- Criminal or fraudulent actions result in immediate dismissal.
- Unprofessional behavior or communications may result in immediate dismissal.
