Truck Driving Position CDL Class A

Position Summary

Overhaul Carriers Ltd. offers CDL Class A regional routes with weekly home time. Compensation ranges from $1680 to $1880 paid weekly, plus a $1000 sign‑on bonus.

Operating Area: AL, GA, IN, IL, KY, NC, OH, SC, TN, VA, WV.

Weekly Mileage: 1200 to 1500 miles.

Home weekly:
Out for 5 days and home for 2 days. Days off:
Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs.

Driver responsibilities: 100% unloads freight.

Transmission:
Automatics.

Drug test:
Hair follicle test.

• Driving experience in regional or over‑the‑road
• Moving violations:
  No more than 3 in the last 3 years; no more than 2 in the last 12 months; no DUI/DWI convictions or violations within last 5 years if before obtaining CDL Class A; no two or more convictions/violations for operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol.
• Automatic DQ’s:
  More than three moving violations in past three years; more than two moving violations in last 12 months; open‑container driver or passenger convictions in last 3 years in a POV for both experienced and student drivers; failed/refused drug screen in a lifetime.
• Felonies and misdemeanors:
  All other charges will be reviewed; no theft by check in past 3 years; no drug charges in past 10 years; all sex offenses require HR approval; domestic violence case‑by‑case; drug & theft charges must be outside 5 years.
