CDL Class A Driver - Local Dedicated Route (Dover, OH)

Schedule: Home Daily (Day & Night shift options available)

Are you tired of being over the road? Ready to sleep in your own bed every night? We are seeking a reliable, safety-minded CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Dover, Ohio. This is a stable, year-round, dedicated local route hauling recycling waste from our local processing plant directly to the designated regional landfill.

No touch freight. Simple, consistent routing. Steady work.

What You'll Do

• Dedicated Short-Haul: Safely transport recycling waste materials from transfer centers to the local landfill in Dover, OH.
• Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily routine commercial vehicle inspections (brakes, tires, lights, fluids) to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Secure and Securely Dump: Safely operate open-top or walking-floor trailers at both plant loading zones and landfill drop sites.
• Maintain Logs: Keep accurate logs and weight ticket receipts.

Job Requirements

• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Clean Record: A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and no recent DOT-recordable accidents.
• Physical Fitness: Capacity to handle normal physical demands
• Screening: Must be able to pass a DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
