Job Summary

Responsible for accurately receiving product, supporting completion of receiving reports when required, and maintaining standards in the receiving department related to organization, cleanliness, safe operation of forklift, safe product placement, product protection, and cold chain standards. Team members carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, supporting the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance. The role emphasizes honesty, integrity, and member-first service, ensuring a safe and positive environment for both members and coworkers.

• Adhere to GOLD Member Standards (GAA) and Club Standards daily, ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans executed, signage accurate, and spaces remain clean and organized.
• Understand and analyze production or financial performance reporting for the department.

• Research and annotate receiving reports, including direct-to-club and negative-on-hand reports.
• Support processing and organization of files, receipts, and outbound shipment paperwork.
• Maintain dock security by conducting bag checks, monitoring flow of team members and visitors, and ensuring secure areas are properly accessed.
• Lock, secure, and restrict use of compactors to authorized personnel only.
• Safely operate a forklift and receive merchandise accurately according to company process and policy.
• Ensure received merchandise is properly stored per product specifications.
• Receive Direct Store Delivery (DSD) loads and process DSD credits as needed.
• Process reverse logistics information and corporate-office-initiated returns.
• Keep dock organized, clean, and in compliance with all club policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-functional tasks in other departments.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Starting from $16.75 per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.

Work primarily on hard surfaces with frequent bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. Lifting objects up to 30 pounds regularly; occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance. Use of pallet jack, exposure to indoor/outdoor temperatures, extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers, and hazardous materials. Operate a forklift and handle potential hazards associated with manufacturing and receiving activities.
