Program Overview
BD’s Quality Rotational Program offers recent graduates a dynamic opportunity to launch their careers by rotating through three distinct areas of Quality over three years:
New Product Development,Sustaining Engineering,Manufacturing Quality,Post‑Market Quality, or Quality Systems. Each rotation takes place at a different site across the United States, allowing associates to gain diverse experiences and build a strong BD network.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Engineers and cross‑functional teams, including Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs.
- Participate in design, development, or manufacturing of BD products.
- Contribute to meaningful, results‑driven projects that deliver real value across BD.
- Engage in networking events, career development sessions, and team‑building activities throughout the program.
- Support the transition into a full‑time position in one of BD’s Quality groups upon program completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality Sciences, or a related major.
- Prior internship or co‑op experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven technical aptitude and strong leadership potential.
- Ability to learn quickly, deal with ambiguity, take initiative, and achieve results.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organization and time‑management skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. No visa sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Associate rotations occur at a new U.S. location each year. Potential rotation sites include:
Tempe,AZ;
Covington,GA;
Warwick,RI;
Canaan,CT;
San Diego,CA;
Franklin Lakes,NJ. Additional locations may be added annually. Relocation support will be provided to qualified associates.
