This Associate will be responsible for technical excellence in areas pertaining to both biological science and mechanical testing for new product design & development.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Design-build-test experience
• Ability to develop and execute test methods and conduct data analysis
• Competency in documentation and writing technical reports
• Can-do positive attitude and collaborative approach to problem-solving
• Solid hands‑on technical skill
• Application of engineering fundamentals

• BS degree in engineering (Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• 2+ years of engineering experience, preferably in medical devices
• Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and computer analysis
• Experience with general mechanical testing equipment such as INSTRON
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated successful learning agility

• Conduct test procedures for the chemistry, biological science, and clinical laboratories
• Conduct mechanical test procedures on INSTRON equipment
• Co‑develop and execute studies investigating and troubleshooting technical issues
• Prepare written technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses of assigned projects

• Experience handling biological specimens, particularly human clinical samples, is desirable
• Knowledge of procedures for blood‑borne pathogen safety is necessary and will be provided
• Self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to conduct hands‑on work
