Job Description Summary The Manager, Digital Education for Professional Education will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital initiatives that support global professional education programs. This role is responsible for managing virtual event logistics, driving engagement through digital platforms, and ensuring seamless delivery of online educational content. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with expertise in digital marketing and community engagement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics for digital and virtual events, including webinars, live case broadcasts, and online curricula.
  • Ensure technical readiness and smooth delivery of virtual programs in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Manage communications strategy and key performance metrics for the Hernia

    U online community.
  • Monitor engagement trends and implement strategies to grow and retain community members.
  • Partner with the Professional Education Program Team to develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with educational objectives.
  • Support Hernia

    U faculty relationships in collaboration with the Professional Education Program Team.
  • Develop and manage digital marketing strategies for opt-in lists in collaboration with platform marketing teams.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key metrics for digital campaigns and virtual events to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative work culture.
  • Ensure compliance of programs with HCC guidelines and internal policies.
  • Align operations with strategic goals through strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Special projects, as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital program management, digital event planning, and/or digital marketing required, preferably in medical education or life sciences industry.
  • Experience with professional medical education platforms and online communities preferred.
  • Experience working successfully across regions/geographies preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong understanding of virtual event platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics.
  • Deep understanding of HCC compliance in relation to HCP education.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and webinar tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, cross-regionally, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with building and editing websites preferred (e.g., Word Press).
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheets) preferred.
  • Strong people skills - ability to establish and build close working relationships across a highly matrixed organization and with alliance partners.
  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently.

Salary Range Information

$99,700.00 - $ USD Annual
